Communication (as a program of study) is indeed concerned with oral communication
(both verbal and nonverbal), but there is more to the story. While you
certainly will give several speeches and make several presentations, you
will also write several papers. In what follows you will find some guidelines
that we hope will help you journey through the diverse terrain of writing
in communication courses.
