Study the architecture of Venice’s picture-perfect palaces and imagine the centuries-old culture that is still visible in this water wonderland. Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly overnight to Italy

Day 2: Venice: Arrive in Venice

Day 3: Venice: Take a guided tour of Venice:
St. Mark’s Square
Campanile
Grand Canal
Visit Doges’ Palace
Attend a glass-blowing demonstration

Day 4: Verona Florence: Transfer to Florence via Verona
Take a walking tour of Verona

Day 5: Florence: Take a guided tour of Florence:
Pizza dell Signoria
Ponte Vecchio
Visit the Duomo
See a leather –making demonstration
Visit the Accademia

Day 6: Assisi Rome: Travel to Assisi
Visit the Basilica of St. Fracais
Continue on to Rome

Day 7: Rome: Take a guided tour of Vatican City
Sistine Chapel
St. Peter’s Basilica
Enjoy free time

Day 8: Rome: Take a guided tour of Rome
Trevi Fountain
Pantheon

Visit the Colosseum
