Welcome to Psychology at Columbia College
We are pleased that you have chosen to pursue an undergraduate degree in this area and we will assist you in your efforts for an enriching and successful experience as a psychology major. Within this website is an overview of the psychology program at Columbia College, descriptions of additional opportunities to enhance your education in psychology, and tips and guidelines to help make your academic experience the best possible.
Psychology is an undergraduate major offered through the Division of Behavioral Studies & Human Inquiry at Columbia College. The Division of Behavioral Studies & Human Inquiry also has a student-run, informal campus club (The Human Relations Student Association or HRSA) that meets approximately once a month. The HRSA exists to promote a sense of community among majors in the Human Relations Department, raise awareness on issues within the HR fields, address student concerns, and present information on relevant topics. Planned activities include volunteering at local community centers, information sessions about graduate school and constructing a resume, and strengthening interpersonal and interview skills. All students are welcome to attend.
The Division of Behavioral Studies & Human Inquiry is located in Wil Lou Gray on Colonial Drive. We encourage students to stop by, learn more about the programs, and meet faculty and staff.
