Each year, the Career Services hosts a variety of career fairs and special programs that give students the opportunity to meet employers, recruiters, and graduate school representatives. The following events are designed to help students pursue full-time, professional positions.

Hosted by the University of South Carolina, and held at the Carolina Coliseum, this is the largest job fair held in the Columbia area. About 100 employers gather to meet students and collect resumes. All Columbia College students are invited to attend CareerFest.

Career Connections - Career Fair & Interview Event

Monday, February 28 2011, 8:00am - 5:00pm

SCICU Career Connections (formerly known as the annual SCICU Interview Day) is a state-wide career fair and interview event hosted by the twenty colleges & universities that are members of the South Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities, Inc. (SCICU). This recruiting event is designed to maximize your time and recruiting resources by providing the opportunity to network with and interview statewide college graduates in one day at one location. Recruiters from corporations, organizations, state and federal agencies, non-profits, and school districts desiring to recruit qualified graduates for entry-level positions, as well as current students for internship opportunities are invited to participate.
Career Connections will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (1101 Lincoln Street, Columbia, South Carolina) from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
