(COLUMBIA, SC) The Columbia College Chamber Ensemble will present its 2004 Fall Concert on Thursday, December 2, 7:30 p.m., in the Concert Hall of Spears Music/Art Center.
The program will feature guest violinist Paula Miles Burlison '03, who will join the ensemble for "String Quartet No. 19 in G, Op. 54, No. 1" by Franz Joseph Haydn. Also on the program will be "Trio Sonata in G" by Jean Baptista Loeillet (de Gant), featuring freshmen Jennifer Broehm on violin and Jenni Bond on viola. Juniors Adrienne Whetsell, clarinet, and Margarie Lever, cello, will perform "Trio Pathetique in d minor" by Russian composer Michael Glinka.
The ensemble is directed by Dr. Randolph Love and accompanied on piano by staff accompanist Karen Areheart.
