Columbia College Field Trials and Family Fest Nov. 13

 

(COLUMBIA, SC) Columbia College will sponsor a day of Field Trials, with competitions for both bird dogs and retrievers, along with a Family Fest featuring food and entertainment for family members of all ages. The event will take place on Saturday, November 13, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at The North Camden Plantation on Keys Lane in Camden, S.C. Proceeds will go to the Columbia College Endowment Fund to provide scholarships for deserving students.

The event is open to the public. Admission is free. Food will be available for purchase.

Field trials will run throughout the day. Bird dogs will be judged on pointing, backing, and style; retrievers will be judged on marking ability, style, obedience, steadiness, and desire. 

Other activities will include a live and silent auction; wagon rides; a kids' fishing contest; and a variety of children's games.
