(COLUMBIA, SC) Columbia College has announced a new partnership with the S.C. Commission on Women.
Formed more than 30 years ago, the Commission works to enhance the economic and health status of women in South Carolina.
Through the Leadership Institute, Columbia College will collect and disseminate data on the economic and social autonomy, political participation, and health and well-being of women in the state. In addition, the College will develop strategies for improvement in these areas and recommend and advance policies to the Governor and General Assembly.
