| Cultural Ambassador of Liberia to Speak at Columbia College |

On Tuesday, March 27, Columbia College will welcome Liberia’s Cultural Ambassador, Julie Endee. Appointed by Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson, the first woman president of an African country, Ambassador Endee is also the Communication Officer for Health Education in the Republic of Liberia and Consultant on Media and Outreach for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Liberia. She was appointed UNICEF Cultural Ambassador, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and ECOWAS Peace Ambassador. Endee is also a traditional Queen in the Republic of Liberia. A founding member of the Liberian cultural music troupe known as The Crusaders for Peace, she has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, and the United States.
