Evelyn Clary Performance to Benefit Vocal Scholarship Fund

 
Evelyn Clary, soprano, will present a recital to benefit the Richard Veale vocal scholarship in the Spears Music/Art Center, Columbia College, at 7:30 pm on Monday, April 9. Richard Ellis Veale (1942-2006) taught voice at Columbia College for thirty-eight years.
 
The program includes arias and songs by Pergolesi, Handel, Boulanger, Wolf, Verdi, Hoiby and Heggie. Ms. Clary graduated from Columbia College with a BA in Music and English. She is a Masters Candidate in the Vocal Performance program at the University of South Carolina.
 
Admission is free; contributions to the scholarship fund are appreciated.
