Shorts 2007 is an evening of five brief plays, including works by American playwrights Shel Silverstein, Adrienne Dawes, Scott Organ, Claire Cox, and Ellen Melaver.  The plays, most of them ten minutes or so in length, present  variations on contemporary women dealing with life in highly unique, often hilariously funny ways.

Shorts 2007 is directed by guest director Indira Cureton-Cummings, with Patrick Faulds of the Department of Communication and Theatre as technical director and Heather Siegfried, a junior from Bluffton, SC, as stage manager.

Performing in Shorts 2007 are Columbia College students Amanda Bowers, a junior from Goose Creek, SC;  Shavone Gadsden, a senior from Charleston, SC;  Joanna Grey, a junior from Belfast, Northern Ireland; Kay Herrington, a first-year student from North Charleston, SC; Julia Jefferson, a senior from Allendale, SC;  Jennifer Lockhart, a first-year student from Columbia, SC; Kia Miller, a sophomore from Columbia, SC; Keisha Moyd, a junior from Columbia, SC; Zarah Setro, a junior from Piedmont, SC; Tiffany Talley, a senior from Hollywood, SC; Davonna Whack, a sophomore from Manning, SC; Devon Whitt, a sophomore from Spartanburg, SC; and Fatima Zeidan, a senior from Allendale, SC.  Appearing in a cameo role will be Columbia College staff member Patrick Faulds.
