The Student Language Club Celebrates the World Hello Day
November 21st, 2009 was not just a typical Saturday... It was the 37th Annual World Hello Day. Every year on that day, 180 countries say "Hello" to the rest of the world, demonstrating the importance of personal communication for preserving peace.
This year, the newly created Student Language Club, Cultural Crossroads, will join people around the world in expressing their concern for world peace. Students will work together to promote this annual global event by distributing name tags that will say "Hello" in different languages. Join the Student Language Club on Monday, November 23rd by simply greeting people you may or may not know. Be the change that you wish to see in the world!
