Congratulations to Kyle Love, lecturer and director of
Columbia College’s Pearce Communication Center.

She recently attended the 2008 National Communication Association convention in San Diego, where she received two awards:

1. The Preston Leadership Award for the Communication Centers section of NCA;

2. The Highest Ranked Panel Award, given for chairing the panel with the highest rating in the Communication Centers section of NCA.

Love also completed a term (2007) as the head of both the National Association of Communication Centers and the Communication Centers section of the National Communication Association.
 
The Pearce Communication Center serves approximately 500 Columbia College students per year by providing assistance with the creation, refinement and delivery of oral presentations.
