A reception was held in November for Columbia College alumnae who now live and work in the Washington, D.C., area. President Caroline Whitson and Vice President Barbara Parks greeted the event guests at the Old Ebitt Grill, a Washington landmark. The reception was a lively gathering of alumnae and current students participating in the Washington Semester program. On the same trip, Dr. Whitson was also a featured presenter for the National Collegiate Honors Conference.
