Chief Howard Cook, Chief of Police at Columbia College, has received a 2010 President’s Award for Extraordinary Service and Dedication from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association.

During their 70th annual awards banquet held September 1, 2010 the Association presented numerous awards and recognitions for those who helped build safer communities in South Carolina and supported the mission of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association "To enhance and promote the law enforcement profession in South Carolina".
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association and it's 7000 members in state, federal and local public safety, work collectively to provide quality training and awareness to law enforcement, improve the quality of life for all citizens and work tirelessly for our communities.
