On October 27, The Alliance for Women at Columbia College hosted a statewide Summit on South Carolina Women. Business, political and community leaders from all counties around the state joined together in a collaborative process to prioritize the issues that can make a difference in the lives of South Carolina women, families and communities. Their work will be developed into comprehensive recommendations that will be shared with the incoming governor and the legislative women’s caucus to assist in framing an agenda to improve the status of women in South Carolina.
