XII. COLLEGE PUBLICATIONS

The Office of Public Relations produces Columns the alumnae magazine, the Columbia College annual report, departmental brochures, ads, recruitment materials, and develops and maintains www.columbiacollegesc.edu. Any material or content developed to represent Columbia College to the media or general public (i.e. newsletters, ads, brochures, etc.) must be submitted to the Office of Public Relations for review and approval.

XIII. COLUMBIA COLLEGE LOGOS AND SEAL

All departments must use the official Columbia College logo as an identifier in print, on the Web, and any other media. The only exceptions are the athletics program, which uses a licensed team logo featuring our koala mascot and the campus police department. It is important that the Columbia College brand remain visible and consistent both on campus and off. Separate non-official logos will not be designed or approved for use by academic or service departments. While themed events may have a special logotype, the Columbia College logo must also appear on promotional material such as posters and t-shirts if they are college-sponsored. The logos below are registered emblems of Columbia College. They are available for campus users as digital downloads from the online Press Room. Each logo is indicated by its name and provided in an electronic file format usable in most popular programs such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Files for special applications may be provided upon request. Private vendors wishing to use these logos on salable merchandise must contact the Columbia College Office of Public Relations for rights and terms of use.

In addition to the official logo, Columbia College has a traditional seal.
The College seal must always appear as shown below. It may not be combined with the logo and never used with the logo (beside, above, below, etc.). It may be used only in black purple (Pantone 268), gold foil, or silver foil. The seal is to be used for diplomas, certificates and documents of a formal, official nature. It may be used for merchandising or promotional items only upon approval of the executive director of public relations.
