Welcome to Columbia College
Open Door

What is the Open Door program?
The Open Door program highlights areas on campus where individuals can feel free to be who they truly are, regardless of group affiliation.  Those who display the Open Door symbol make a public statement about their willingness to respect and appreciate diversity on campus. The Open Door symbol is simply an outward sign of an inward commitment to inclusiveness, and it points the way to some of the many friendly and welcoming places in the Columbia College community, making them readily identifiable to all of us who seek to be understood, accepted, and valued for who we are .

How do I participate in the Open Door program?
If you are interested in participating in the Open Door program, you will need to attend one of the workshops listed below. After attending an Open Door workshop, you may decide to make the Open Door Commitment by registering with the link below. You will then receive the Open Door symbol to display in your office, residence hall room, or other desired location.
